I Would Like to be a Mentor

Walk with a young person in their journey of discipleship

Mentoring can play a key part in growing as a follower of Jesus. It gives young disciples the chance to go deeper in their faith and share celebrations, concerns and challenges with an older Christian.

What's Involved?

Exodus has supported over 1,000 individuals and churches in launching mentoring relationships.

Our mentoring pairs normally meet weekly or fortnightly for 3 or 4 months to follow a discipleship course.

We provide every mentor with training, materials and ongoing support. We also take care of the necessary checks and admin.

mentoring meeting tends to last around an hour. They can happen in a church, Exodus centre or maybe a coffee shop. They include a catch up, a discussion about the Bible, a time to pray and a chance to chat about anything else. Between meetings, you will read sections of the Bible and act on what has been discussed.

[Applying to the mentoring programme does not guarantee that you will be accepted as a mentor.]
