North East Internships

DO YOU BELIEVE A YEAR COULD CHANGE EVERYTHING

NORTH EAST INTERNSHIPS

We need hard working, forward thinking and fun loving interns to join the team and help create and lead exciting discipleship opportunities for young people. Work with the NE staff (Ethan, Bruce and Jose) as we continue to serve local churches and schools in the area.

During this life-shaping year, you will experience:

Ownership
- we love showing hospitality. The responsibility will be  yours to keep our venue fresh and welcoming to visitors and to bring your A-game so our Saturday night programmes stay lit, ministry ideas relevant and our following on Instagram higher than the other venues!

Opportunity we love discipling local young people. Mentor a young person, be involved with our amazing teams, influence our energetic volunteers, host a youth group in our residential centre and invest weekly in a local school.

Fun - we love having fun. We believe the joy it can bring to people's lives. Be prepared to work hard - but be prepared to play hard and laugh lots.

Development -we would love to nurture your skills, talents and gifts. You will meet weekly with your line manager for ministry planning, bi-weekly with your mentor for spiritual challenge and monthly with other interns for training and reflection; all to help foster an attitude of growth throughout your year.

Exposure - we love ministering in different environments. Work in a fast paced, Jesus centred office where weekly deadlines are met and excellence is expected. Experience the rush of communicating to 300 pupils in a school assembly, get soaked on a cold, Friday night kicking a football in a local estate and raise a battle cry from the hearts of your team as you move them out to lead a kids club in a foreign land.

From mammoth tasks to defining moments, we want to stretch and extend your ministry potential....because we believe a year can change everything!

“But forget all that - it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new.

See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?”

Isaiah 43 v18-19
