UNSIGNED ACT 2009

UNSIGNED ACT is a competition designed to give up and coming local Christian bands, singer/songwriters and solo acts the chance to showcase their music to a wider audience and win an exciting recording and gigging opportunity. Through it we want to encourage local talent and help groups glorify God through their music.

  • A two day recording package and free production of your first 100 CDs
• Gigs at both Exodus Venues (Lisburn and Coleraine) in the 09/10 programme.

Entries MUST be received by Friday 15th May 2009

Criteria for entry

All bands should:

• Have a passion for God and music
• Be from Ireland
• Be unsigned i.e. have no form of record contract
• Be available as for soundchecks, heats an final on 4th-6th July (Timings TBC)
• Play songs fitting of the ethos of the venue
  • Songs must not contain swear words, provocative language or sexual innuendo. This includes any material that promotes subjects such as the use of drugs and/or other addictive pass times, violent behaviour etc.
